When working with clients it is important to consider them in the context of ecology – their entire environment, and in the systems pertaining to their development throughout their lives. A child's environment at birth is an ecosystem which will influence the child’s development and capacity to cope and adapt to change; and this will be evident in the patterns repeated in adulthood.
The therapeutic benefits gained from assisting a client to develop a coherent personal narrative cannot be underestimated. Most clients will never have had the opportunity of telling their own story in a safe, non-judgemental space. The story not only helps the therapist to understand their client at a deeper level, it helps the client to begin the process of self-acceptance, which is a vital aspect of any therapy.

This two-day, classroom based programme will help to illuminate your work with your clients and deepen your potency as a therapist.
The course is open to all student and qualified therapists, counsellors and coaches of any modality. We will have a maximum of five delegates to ensure individual attention.
The course fee is £410.00*, (to include a comprehensive course manual, light refreshments and lunch each day) and represents 14 hours of verifiable CPD. In exceptional circumstances, it may be moved online.

This course has been given Quality Checked CPD training recognition by the National Hypnotherapy Society (HS) and the National Counselling Society (NCS). This course alone is not a route to the Accredited Register nor does it fully equip a participant to practice as a qualified practitioner or refer to themselves as ‘a specialist’ in the subject matter unless they have other qualifications to support this.
