Our seven day Diploma in Clinical Supervision has been awarded Advanced Specialist Training status by both the National Hypnotherapy Society and the National Counselling Society. The complete programme is conducted over one or two years (depending on the requirements of your professional membership body), with two initial modules totalling five days, after which students will be awarded a Certificate in Supervision, followed by two days of final assessment one or two years later, depending on the student's modality, for students who wish to undertake the full Diploma programme.
Members of HS and NCS will be able to complete the programme in one year; UKCP members will be required to undertake the programme over two years. Module 3 will be arranged to suit individual students on the programme.
The course is conducted in a small group with a maximum of four students in order to ensure individual attention. The syllabus covers the practical aspects of clinical supervision, and is designed for therapists and counsellors who have already achieved accreditation and who wish to extend their portfolio to include supervision, or to review their supervisory skills. Our course is open to accredited therapists and accredited counsellors from other modalities in addition to Hypnotherapy and Counselling, and the two year programme meets the stringent training requirements of both UKCP and NLPtCA .
