What if there was a different way to think about stress...

As a therapist, counsellor or coach, you are probably encountering more and more clients suffering with the symptoms of stress, anxiety and burnout, particularly in the present climate.

This practical and experiential one day workshop will be unlike any other "stress management" course you have attended.  Designed for therapists, counsellors and coaches, and introducing current research, it offers a calm, confidential and relaxing space in which you can discover a variety of easy and effective techniques which you can put to use straight away, both with yourself and your clients.

Stress is a natural part of life; it is part of how our mind and body communicates.  However, stress is often considered to be something we should fight, and control, and when we feel we can't do that our ability to cope with day-to-day life sometimes becomes compromised.... but what if, instead of stress being something toxic to be avoided, it was actually a resource....?

On this course you will explore and discover:
  • How your beliefs about stress can help or hinder your levels of wellbeing;
  • How your perception relates to your state of mind;
  • How a shift in your mindset can help you change your relationship with stress, improve your life balance and your state of wellbeing;
  • The importance of emotional agility in preventing burnout;
  • Some simple and effective new tools and life skills to help you develop effective habits and change unuseful thinking patterns.

Course fee £205.00 (no VAT)*, to include comprehensive course manual.
*£195.00 for members of the National Hypnotherapy Society and National Counselling Society.

We like to keep our courses small, and this course is limited to just four delegates; please book early to avoid disappointment.

This course has been given Quality Checked CPD training recognition by the National Hypnotherapy Society (HS) and the National Counselling Society (NCS). This course alone is not a route to the Accredited Register nor does it fully equip a participant to practice as a qualified practitioner or refer to themselves  as ‘a specialist’ in the subject matter unless they have other qualifications to support this.

Please note that this is a personal development course and is not intended to be a substitute for medical care.  If you are dealing with any sort of mental or emotional disorder, are undergoing any mental health therapy, are experiencing epilepsy or seizures, or have any other neurological disorder, we suggest that you consult your medical practitioner or therapist before you undertake this programme, and proceed only under their supervision.
